International Students

Welcome all international students!

Wooster School is pleased to welcome international students to northern Fairfield County, Connecticut. Moving from one culture to another involves change, from food to fashions, to study and sports. We hope to make the transition as smooth as possible, and we welcome the learning and growth that international students bring to our community.

Watch the short video below as Wooster School international students talk to their family and friends back home about their experience at Wooster.

Before you apply

Wooster School strongly encourages entry into the 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th grade for international students. Exceptions are made on occasion for well qualified students interested in other grades. Please inquire for more information.

Wooster School requires all international students to take ESL. It is our commitment to you that you will leave with a higher level of mastery of your English skills than when you arrived at Wooster School.

Applicants from China

International students coming from China must work through either The Cambridge Network, Apex International Education Partners (AIEP), or Northeast Student Consulting (NESC). We have partnered with these organizations to help Chinese students through the admissions process and placement.
