History - Middle School

The sixth grade curriculum, involves the study of world geography and how people live. The skills stressed are those that students need to be successful: reading comprehension, answering questions, writing essays and analyzing information.

The seventh grade curriculum, involves the study of anthropology, history and the world today. The skills stressed are those that students need to be successful: reading comprehension, answering questions, writing essays and analyzing information.

The eighth grade curriculum, involves the study of american history. This course focuses on one major historical theme per trimester: in the fall, Government and Politics; in the winter, War and Conflict; and in the spring Cultural Shifts.
