Wooster history was made on Tuesday October 14. 51 members of the senior class came together and wore matching McLovin ID T-shirts on Color Day. The hit movie Superbad encouraged students to make their last Spirit Week the best one yet. The planning for this event started weeks before Color Day, with a mass email to the entire grade. Kieran Greeley, '22, sent an email to the senior class labeled "special SECRET announcement for seniors!!!" The email then stated: "Hello all, I am writing this email to invite all of you to become part of something epic. If you don't already know, the senior class always wear black on color day during spirit week. WE propose that we all wear these black McLovin Id shirts from the major motion picture, SuperBad. Here is a link to the shirt on amazon, and here is a link to the shirt on target. Spirit Week is the week of 10.12-10.15 so order them NOW. We are also trying to make it a surprise so please refrain from discussing this matter around teachers, underclassmen, and faculty members.
Students came together to ensure that everyone was able to participate in this event by reminding and purchasing shirts for other students. Justine Gray, '22, stated that "I went to Vermont for the weekend and stopped at several different Targets along the way for the people that couldn't get their shirts in time. At the end of the trip I had 10 total McLovin shirts."
