Welcome to the last trimester recap! As the seniors are getting prepared to present their SIS projects, to look back, here are a couple of exciting things that happened and are upcoming next week!:

  • PROM SUCCESS! This was the first all-Upper School and off-campus prom that Wooster has had since COVID and the dance floor was packed and everyone had a great time!
  • The Halo Awards happened on Wednesday and Wooster was nominated for 22 awards. Awards for those who were in theater this school year and it was Wooster's first time attending in person. Congrats to Alli Byrne, '22, and Ben Greco, '22, for winning Best Dynamic Duo in a play!
  • Senior send-off and car parade :).
  • Arts and Letters Night - art show and spring concert. Students with many art credits throughout their high school years were inducted into the Arts & Letters Society, and Alex Goldstein, '22, received the Cordelia Manning Award!
  • Sports Awards to conclude a very successful spring season. Congrats to everyone who received an award!
  • The Undergraduate Awards were on June 1. This event is for academic, arts, and athletic awards and was primarily for the 8th and 11th-grade students.
  • Boys Lacrosse: 3rd place in HVALS!
  • Girls lacrosse: Runners-Up in HVALS!
  • Boys tennis: HVAL Champions!
  • Ultimate Frisbee: HVAL Champions and State Runners-Up (after an undefeated regular season)!

Upcoming events:

  • As mentioned in the Wooster email for Graduation, on June 10th, the Commencement Ceremony will begin at 10:30 am. All Upper School students are required to attend. All 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students should plan to arrive no later than 10:00 am. The ceremony will end by noon. We will have a designated seating area for students under the tent. This is an event dress day for all students.
  • June 7th and 8th are half days: SIS presentations on June 7th, and June 8th is the last workday of the year!

Have a great summer! See you all on September 6th, when we start the 2022-23 school year!
