Grandparents and Special Friends Day
Grandparents and Special Friends Day is an eagerly anticipated Wooster tradition. Every year, we invite and encourage grandparents and special friends to visit the Wooster campus, enjoy a nice breakfast, and sit in on a class or two with their favorite Generals. This is a wonderful time to share Wooster with extended family and friends, and we hope to see you there!
This year's Grandparents and Special Friends Day will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019. Note this is an Event Dress day for all students.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 7:45 am Registration and Breakfast
- 8:25 am Welcome by Head of School, Matt Byrnes
- 8:45 am Student Musical Performances
- 9:25 am Classroom Visits
- 11:00 am Program Ends and Guests Depart Campus
Please note: This will be a full day of school for ALL students. If a student plans on leaving school early, please follow the regular attendance procedures. Middle and Upper School: please call or e-mail Anne Gilson firstname.lastname@example.org or (203) 730-6705. Lower School: please use the School Dismissal Manager.
Advance Registration is now closed. Please register at check-in starting at 7:45 am on Friday, October 4 in the Reception Center.
We understand that not all of our student’s grandparents are able to attend, and we want to make sure these students are not left out of the day’s festivities. In the event your child's grandparents cannot attend, we would like to extend an invitation to any older family member or friend to join them for the day.
