Wooster students, in the Class of 2024, Riley Andrea-Neuhuijs, Chloe Curvat, Alexa Dominguez, Maria Goldstein, Max Rand, Maya Wood, and Lily Zhang have work on display at The Katonah Museum of Art (KMA) this month as part of the 41st Annual Young Artists exhibition which features the work of high school seniors from public and private schools throughout the region.
An impactful program that supports the growth of student artists, the exhibition plays an integral role in the senior experience, providing a unique opportunity for students who plan to pursue the arts beyond high school.
Young Artists gives students the opportunity to participate behind-the-scenes in many aspects of mounting a museum exhibition. Maya Wood, Max Rand, and Lily Zhang had the opportunity to participate in the installation of the museum exhibition. The exhibition features approximately 400 senior student artworks from over 40 local high schools.
The opening celebration on Sunday, February 11 is reserved for Young Artists 2024 participants, their families, friends, and teachers.
The exhibition will be on view from February 11 - March 3. Admission to this exhibition is free to the public. To reserve general admission tickets, please visit: https://www.simpletix.com/e/daily-admissions-young-artists-2024-tickets-154077.
