Division specific emails were sent out on Monday, August 28 with information about the start of the school year. In case you missed them, each email can be accessed by the links below. See you on Thursday!

Busing Information 2017-2018 

 

Opening Days of School (Thursday, August 31 and Friday, September 1): All buses will run the normal times on August 31, September 1, and throughout the year with the following exceptions:

  • Carmel will start on Tuesday, September 5
  • Katonah Lewisboro, North and South Salem, and Somers will start on Wednesday, September 6

B&B - for better clarification of the times of pick up and drop off please feel free to call David or Roseann at 203-393-9750.

 

Please Note: Only B&B, Brewster, Chappaqua, Katonah Lewisboro, North and South Salem, and Somers has a late bus at 5:30 pm.  They will also be running per the above schedules to start the school year.

 

Danbury, Carmel, and Mahopac: Only offer a 3:50 pm bus - No LATE bus.

 

Every Wednesday for the 9:00 am delayed opening, buses will run at normal times. They will not pick up later for a late start. Lower School students arriving before 9:00 am should report to the James Marshall Chapel. Middle and Upper School students arriving before 9:00 am should report to the John D. Verdery Library.

Fully Charged Breakfast at Wooster 

 

We invite you to join the "Dollar Club" this school year. The cost for breakfast, for any student or parent will be $165, for the entire school year, if you purchase in advance (by noon on Friday, September 1). That's a cost of only $1.00 per day! We will also offer breakfast on a day-by-day basis at a cost of $2.00 per day (a cash only purchase in the Dining Room on the day needed).

 

Please register in advance by visiting http://woosterschool.org/breakfast. Then come to the Dining Room between 7:30 - 8:00 am each morning and enjoy breakfast.

 

You will find complete details in the Fully Charged Breakfast email that was sent on August 24.

 

Magnus Health - Forms Were Due August 1 

 

In preparation for the upcoming school year, please remember there are two important items that require your attention.

  • Complete online parents forms via Magnus Health (formerly CareFlow) using the link in the Parent Portal. The online parent forms were due on August 1, 2017.
  • Students entering Pre-K, K, 6 through 12th grades, and all new students, must have on file a current (meaning an exam performed within the past 13 months) physical examination health form performed by a physician licensed to practice in the United States.
 

Wooster School Online Bookstore 

 

Visit Wooster School's Official Bookstore at http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/woostersch.htm.

 

The bookstore is still open for purchasing books for the 2017-18 school year for Middle and Upper School students.

 

Be sure to review the 2017-2018 textbook list.

 

School Directory 

 

Please take a moment to visit the School Directory inside the Parent Portal, and locate your profile. Verify your information is correct. You can update your own contact information in your profile by selecting your "Account" in the red bar at the footer of the site.

 

The Portal also includes links to All School Information as well as updates and information specific to your child/ren's division.

Applied Music Program 

 

The music department will be offering 20 thirty-minute lessons to students in all divisions. For more experienced students whose schedules allow, we strongly suggest a forty-five minute lesson as it will allow for greater progress throughout the year.

Tutoring Center

 

The Tutoring Center at Wooster School offers a variety of tutoring services in a comfortable academic environment where students may come to receive extra help and support in their classes. Students are guided to think logically and work out problems, improving their understanding of the material.
