Alumni Newsletter Summer 2025

The Archives Team just wrapped up its first full year and accomplished a lot—from organizing Homecoming and presenting in Chapel to digitizing historical materials and uncovering treasures in the Chapel attic. We’ve preserved Wooster’s history, engaged the community, and are excited to return next year with even more energy. Thank you for your support—see you in the fall!

The Wooster Archivists dug deep into the school's first commencement ceremony and uncovered that Wooster School held its first graduation in 1929, three years after opening. The second followed in 1930, alongside the laying of its chapel cornerstone and the release of its first yearbook. From those early beginnings, Wooster has continued to grow and thrive.

Calling all Wooster Alumni - Homecoming 2025 is slated for October 4, 2025. We will celebrate all alumni, especially those in classes ending in '0 & '5!

Here at Wooster School, we are still doing our best to partner with families on creating young adults who aspire to be gentle, generous, truthful, kind, and brave. 

In anticipation of our Centennial Celebration in 2026, we’ve been reflecting on nearly 100 years of history and one thing is clear: while the spirit of Wooster remains steadfast, the landscape continues to grow in extraordinary ways.
