Kern Byrnes '17 was recognized as the best player in Western New England Division III lacrosse with his selection as a high school All-American for the second consecutive year. This is the highest possible honor given to high school lacrosse players.

The Wooster School Ultimate Frisbee team is having its finest year in school history, currently with a record of 12-3! The team is ranked 51st in the nation and 4th in the state of Connecticut.

The Wooster Middle School Cross Country team dominated the spring season. Next up is the Division Championships on Tuesday, May 16, where 5 Wooster runners will receive medals. Go Generals!

It is post season time for the spring sports. Many teams start their Housatonic Valley Athletic League (HVAL) Tournaments today, with semifinals and championship games later this week. Good luck Generals!

The preseason practices are over; the snow is melting as the weather is getting warmer, campus is starting to bloom and the spring sports season is about to begin! Upper and Middle School students will begin competing in baseball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, tennis, and ultimate frisbee!

Wooster School's Varsity Ski Team had another strong outing at the Berkshire-Hudson Ski League Championship held at Butternut Ski Area last month. Overall, the team finished in 2nd place.

The Housatonic Valley Athletic League (HVAL) winter athletic honors have arrived for boys and girls basketball. Congratulations to all of our students on these accomplishments and representing Wooster School at the highest level!

As we continue to look at what is important to Wooster in and out of the classroom, the athletics department seeks ways to balance the "team" experience with that of the "individual." Finding room for student-athletes, coaches, and parents to reflect and share their favorite memories is a community and team building exercise and one that we feel is important to the success of our program.

The boys team is the #2 seed and will host #7 seed Hoosac School on Wednesday, March 1 at 3:45 pm in the Forever Young Gymnasium. The girls team is the #2 seed and will host #7 seed Storm King School on Wednesday, March 1 at 5:15 pm in the Forever Young Gymnasium.
