School is out, the sun is shining, and Summer at Wooster is back and better than ever! We know what you're thinking, "How could Summer at Wooster have gotten any better than it already was?!" Lucky for us, we have a brand new camp director who has come in full force ready to put his blood, sweat, and tears into making sure your children are having a summer to remember. Everyone meet Jeff Carone. Jeff has been involved in education and coaching for the past twenty years and has an undeniable passion for working with kids. Jeff was a physical education and health/wellness teacher at Ridgefield High School for numerous years until moving to Boston where he then became a director of youth sports programs. Recently, Jeff and his family moved back to Connecticut where he became involved in student life and athletics at Wooster School and then became the Director of Summer at Wooster!

Summer at Wooster is a seven week camp that literally has it all. From recreational sports like swimming, kickball, and dodgeball, to enrichment classes like art, video/journalism, cooking, and theater, your child will be constantly entertained and having endless fun. Jeff has made a special effort to make sure that the camp is offering the best kind of activities for your children by instituting new programs and providing them with the best staff around. For the first time ever, Wooster now has a new, outstanding lunch program that offers homemade, healthy meals made fresh everyday by a tremendous chef. Summer at Wooster also now offers a BOKS program, sponsored by Reebok, which provides first and second graders with a class every morning introducing and exposing them to elements of fitness and nutrition.

While speaking with Jeff, we asked him why he thinks parents should send their kids to SAW. Jeff answered with, "Summer at Wooster is a welcoming place, ran by the best people I know. As a parent, I know I want to feel secure in sending my children somewhere I know they will have fun, be safe, and be surrounded by great role models".

Summer at Wooster has only just begun with the first session coming to a close. Go online today to http://summeratwooster.org and sign your children up to ensure that they have the most fun-filled summer because Summer at Wooster is the place to be, and we do not disappoint!
