Wooster School held its Commencement Exercises on Friday, June 9, 2017 to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2017. These seniors join more than 3,000 alumni who have graduated since Wooster's founding in 1926.

The spring sport athletic honors have arrived for baseball, coed golf, boys and girls lacrosse, boys and girls tennis, and coed ultimate frisbee. Congratulations to all of our students on these accomplishments and representing Wooster School at the highest level!

Daniel placed in the top ten at the National Chemistry Olympiad regional test and qualified for the National Chemistry Olympiad Exam. Daniel was the best performer from the Western Connecticut region on the national exam.

The Wooster School Undergraduate Awards Assembly was held on Wednesday, May 31 in the Forever Young Gymnasium. Congratulations to all of the Upper and Middle School award recipients and their families.

The American Classical League, a professional organization for classicists, sponsors annually the National Latin Exam, a standardized Latin test for high school students. This year, over 149,000 students worldwide took the National Latin Exam. Nine Wooster School students received honors on the National Latin Exam.

As we continue to look at what is important to Wooster in and out of the classroom, the athletics department seeks ways to balance the "team" experience with that of the "individual." Finding room for student-athletes, coaches, and parents to reflect and share their favorite memories is a community and team building exercise and one that we feel is important to the success of our program.

Kern Byrnes '17 was recognized as the best player in Western New England Division III lacrosse with his selection as a high school All-American for the second consecutive year. This is the highest possible honor given to high school lacrosse players.

The Wooster School Ultimate Frisbee team is having its finest year in school history, currently with a record of 12-3! The team is ranked 51st in the nation and 4th in the state of Connecticut.

The Wooster Middle School Cross Country team dominated the spring season. Next up is the Division Championships on Tuesday, May 16, where 5 Wooster runners will receive medals. Go Generals!

"Come with me, and you'll be, in a world of pure imagination!" So begins the delightful story of Charlie Bucket and his trip to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Performances will be held on Friday, May 19 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, May 20 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm in the Black Box Theatre.

Senior leadership positions were announced this morning during a special assembly. The gathering has been a Wooster tradition since its founding years. Summoned by the Chapel bells, students in grades 6 through 12 filled the Forever Young Gymnasium with excitement and anticipation as the junior class gathered in front of the crowd for the announcement of their senior year job assignments.
