Vera Fakhouri was honored by the Connecticut State Senate and the Lebanon American Club of Danbury for her dedicated “service to the students and youth of our community.” Wooster School is very fortunate to benefit from Vera Fakhouri’s enthusiasm and love of languages. In addition to teaching her regular French classes, Ms. Fakhouri leads our Year Abroad Program in France and Spain and has expanded our foreign language curriculum to include Arabic classes in the Upper School, which she teaches with great passion, helping students to understand the language as well as the many various aspects of this rich culture.
