Middle School curriculum, programs, and activities are all geared toward this unique developmental stage in students' lives.

Students refine their time management, organizational, and study skills as they take courses in five main areas: English, math, science, foreign language, and history. Class requirements are age appropriate and reflect the rigor of Wooster's academic program. Small classes of about a dozen students allow teachers to get to know their students well. A well-honed advisory system helps strengthen important student-teacher relationships and conquers academic issues as they arise.

Mornings are devoted to academic subjects while afternoons provide an opportunity to explore a range of co-curricular classes: Physical Education, Chapel, Art, Music, Computers, Health, and Life-Skills. Study Halls and supplemental language breakout sessions are all part of the Middle Schooler's afternoon. After school, students have an assortment of enrichment programs to choose from.

Middle Schoolers attend a two-day outdoor education program in the fall, do 15 hours of community service each year, participate in field trips, and compete in our own in-school Academic Bowl, as well as in numerous specialized academic competitions.
